Business operations workspace
Operations Management Software for Day-to-Day Business Work
O.S.S Operations is a cloud workspace for businesses that coordinate teams, clients, projects, stock and money in one place. It is not a full ERP. You get the modules you enable—tasks, clients, projects, inventory, finance, quotes and reports—plus a client portal for quote acceptance.
What you can run from one account
- Clients, projects and assigned tasks
- Team members and staff types
- Inventory, products and optional retail
- Quotes, invoices and finance entries
- Reports and read-only AI commentary
From client to completion
Client
Create client records, share a portal link, and keep project and quote work attached to that client.
Project
Open a project with status and budget context, then attach tasks, documents and payments as the job proceeds.
Tasks and team
Assign work to team members, track status, and collect completion notes or photos. Staff types include sales, cleaning, admin and general.
Stock and selling
Inventory tracks items and stock movements. When retail is enabled, teams can sell from a catalog, run production batches from a bill of materials, and record waste.
Finance and report
Record income and expense entries, then review operational totals on the reports page. This is an operational ledger, not certified accounting.
How teams use Operations
Owner
Enable modules, invite staff, review reports and generate read-only AI commentary from live totals when AI is configured.
Team members
Work assigned tasks and, for sales staff, use the retail sell flow when that module is on.
Clients
Open a token-based portal to review quotes, accept with a signature, and see invoices and project progress—without a private owner login.
Who it is for
Businesses that coordinate work and money
Useful when a team needs clients, projects, tasks, stock and finance in one browser workspace rather than separate spreadsheets.
Retail, warehouse, construction, office, service or manufacturing presets
Registration offers business-type presets. Live modules still depend on what the owner enables. Several extra modules remain marked coming soon in the owner dashboard and are not claimed here.
Open an Operations workspace
Register for Operations, pick a business type and start with a 14-day trial. No credit card is required at signup.
A workspace, not a full ERP
O.S.S Operations covers day-to-day operating work: people, jobs, stock and a simple finance ledger. It does not replace general ledger accounting, payroll HRIS or a manufacturing MRP suite.
- Tasks, clients, projects, inventory, finance and reports
- Quotes and invoices with portal acceptance
- No claim of certified accounting or fiscalization
Tasks, clients and projects
Owners create clients and projects, then assign tasks to the team. Tasks support status changes, notes and completion photos. Quotes can be sent and accepted on the client portal; accepted quotes can create invoices and attach to project work.
- Client records and portal access
- Project status and related payments
- Assigned tasks with completion evidence
Inventory, retail and production
Inventory holds items with stock in, out and adjustments, including barcode lookup. Retail selling, production batches that consume a bill of materials, waste records and a retail daily-close summary are available when those modules are enabled—they are not required for every business.
- Stock movements and barcode lookup
- Optional retail catalog and production batches
- Retail daily close is a sales-day summary, not a hotel night audit
Finance, reports and AI commentary
Finance records operational income, expenses and staff payments. The reports page aggregates tasks, projects, inventory, retail and finance totals. Owners can request read-only AI insights built from those totals when an AI key is configured; the assistant does not change records.
- Operational income and expense entries
- Owner reports across live modules
- Read-only AI commentary on reports
Frequently asked questions
How do I start with O.S.S Operations?
Create an account at /register-operations. The signup wizard collects account details, business type and plan or trial. Eligible signups include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
Is O.S.S a cloud-based system?
Yes. O.S.S runs in the web browser on desktop, tablet and phone — no local server installation required.
Is O.S.S Operations an ERP?
No. It is a business operations workspace for tasks, clients, projects, inventory, quotes, finance entries and reports. Classic ERP capabilities such as a full general ledger, payroll HRIS or MRP are not claimed.
What does the client portal do?
Clients open a public portal link with a token. They can review quotes, accept with a signature, and see invoices and project progress. It is not a marketing website builder and it is not the private owner dashboard.
Does Operations include AI that runs the business?
No. When AI is configured, owners can generate read-only commentary from report totals and optionally get bill-of-materials suggestions matched to inventory. The feature does not create tasks, change stock or post finance entries by itself.
