O.S.S supports Channex-ready workflows for hotels that enable the integration—property UUID setup, room type mapping to OSS units, health visibility and an operational inbox for inbound booking review. This is an inbound-focused MVP: teams confirm imports rather than assuming fully automatic two-way sync.

Is O.S.S a cloud-based system?

Yes. O.S.S runs in the web browser on desktop, tablet and phone — no local server installation required.

Do hotel owners paste Channex API keys in O.S.S?

No. Hotel owners configure the Channex Property UUID and room mappings. Platform webhooks and API secrets are managed at the OSS platform level.

Are Channex bookings imported automatically?

Inbound bookings appear in the Channex Inbox for review. Teams use import preview and confirm when mapping and dates are correct—automatic import without confirmation is not the current workflow.

What does the Channex add-on cost?

The Channex add-on is billed per hotel (currently documented as $30 USD/month in product billing). Setup and import actions may be locked until the add-on is active.

Does Channex integration push rates and availability outbound?

Outbound ARI push is planned future work and is not claimed as live today. Current scope focuses on inbound booking workflow support.
