QR table ordering
QR Menu Ordering System for Table Service
QR ordering in O.S.S is a table-scoped guest menu: scan, browse, submit. A waiter still confirms the ticket before it is a kitchen order. This is not autonomous no-waiter service, and it is not payment at the table.
What guests and staff actually do
- Scan a table QR in the phone browser
- Browse the live operational menu
- Submit with the table number
- Waiter confirms before kitchen
- Cashier settles after service
From scan to kitchen handoff
Scan the table
Each table can use a property-specific guest URL that already includes the table number. Guests do not install an app.
Browse and submit
The guest sees categories and items from the same menu managers edit. They add items, optional notes, and place the order with a guest name—no guest account is required.
Waiter confirms
QR orders enter awaiting confirmation. A waiter confirms before the ticket is a kitchen order. Fully autonomous no-waiter service is not claimed.
Kitchen and cashier
After confirm, the kitchen display shows the ticket. Payment is still cashier cash or card after service—not payment at the table on the guest phone.
Who is in the QR loop
Guest
Scans, browses and submits from the phone browser.
Waiter
Confirms the QR ticket and later marks it delivered.
Kitchen and cashier
Cook from the display; settle at the cashier station.
Who it is for
Table-service restaurants that want guest self-order
Venues that print a QR per table and still want staff confirmation before cooking.
Not a delivery marketplace
This is in-venue table ordering. Third-party delivery apps and pay-at-table card capture are not claimed.
Put a QR on the table
Create a restaurant account, set menu and tables, then share the guest QR for each table. The trial does not require a credit card.
Principal QR commercial page, not a clone of the menu catalog
This page is scan-to-order at the table. Digital menu, contactless menu, online ordering and table-ordering URLs still exist as related historical pages; they are not merged here.

Staff still run confirmation and payment
Waiters confirm QR tickets. Kitchen receives confirmed orders. Cashiers settle cash or card. Guests do not pay on the QR page.
No guest app, no table payment
Guests use iOS or Android browsers. There is no App Store step and no claimed payment-at-table or unsupported payment methods on the guest phone.

- Cashier settlement after service
